Dover From LCA

My wife and I were travelling from Vilnius to Dover to meet her parents there. But, then, my wife suggested that we land at London City Airport, from there we should travel by road. I did not oppose her proposal because I have always loved travelling by road. It is always an adventure to travel by car. You can experience so much if you travel on the road. You can discover new towns and meet different people along the way. If you are an adventurous person then you will always choose a car over a plane. Of course, there are places which we cannot travel to without planes or if we travel through other means it would make, if not impossible, then a hell lot harder to reach a distant place. I agreed that we take a cab from the airport. We packed our luggage and made a booking with the cab service. I booked a cab from company. I found this company with good reviews online. We landed at the airport, the driver was waiting for us holding a paper with my name on it. Walked up to him and introduced myself. He welcomed us with a smile and took the bags that my wife was carrying.

He offered to take my bags also but I told him that I would carry my bag. The driver placed our suitcases in the boot of the car and got in the cab. I booked a cab from London City Airport to Buckland Court, Dover. My in-laws live there, they own a house at the court. My wife told me that we had to make a small stop. There was a shopping centre there and she wanted to buy some things from there. I asked the driver if he would be kind enough to stop near a shopping centre. He did not mind at all and was cool about it. We stopped at the mall and my wife bought some gifts for her nieces and nephews. She also bought gifts for her parents and her siblings as well.

I tried helping her in picking gifts but I was making matters worse as she disliked every single item that I had picked there. She disapproves of my taste. I picked guns for kids to play with but she insisted that we buy colouring books for the kids. Her nieces and nephews are all under the age of 10. After all this exercise we went to the cab and continued our journey. After a drive of nearly three hours, finally, we reached the house of my in-laws. The driver gave us our luggage and took his leave. My father-in-law opened the door of the house and embraced us at the door. Then the rest of the family came and hugged us in their turn. It was very good to travel and will remember this trip all my life.
