Dover From Luton Airport

After completing my high school diploma I applied for a bachelor's degree in history at Dover College. I was very hopeful and my parents were also very optimistic that I would get admission to the college. And on the 04th of May, I received a letter confirming my admission to the college. My parents and I were very happy and started preparing for my departure to college. I started making all the necessary arrangements and was packing stuff to leave for college. I packed all my clothes, books, toiletries and other important stuff that would come in handy there. I was all prepared and set for my journey.My parents were going to come with me to the college and bid their farewells to me at the college. On the opening day of the college, we planned on going there by cab. On the morning of the 21st of May, we booked a cab from Luton Airport to Dover College.

We were travelling from Canterbury. We booked a cab from the company. The driver was already waiting for us at the airport holding my nametag, delightfully greeted us, and offered to take our bags, placed our luggage in the boot of the car. We then went on with our journey. Firstly, we stopped at a bed and breakfast just after a drive of a few minutes. We invited our cab driver to dine with us. He was reluctant at first but then he could not be able to refuse our persistence and joined us for breakfast. The cabby looked to be in his late 30s and he confirmed it by asking.While we were waiting for our breakfast we got into chatting and learnt that our cab driver has a son about my age. And he was also applying to college. He had graduated with promising percentage and excellent grades. He was applying for Agricultural Science.

After having our breakfast we were all set to get on with our journey. From there we were going to travel to the college. Along the way, my parents were giving me different pieces of advice, on how to succeed in life, and be an exemplary person, not only in college but in society as well. They act like any normal parents who want to see my success in every field of life. I was thinking this whole time that I will never do anything that would damage the pride of my parents and would break their hearts. After all these pieces of advice, we finally reached the college and at the entrance of the hostel, they bade their final goodbyes with hopes and dreams that I would never disappoint them and achieve success in life.
