Eastbourne From Gatwick

Last year during summertime my friends and I made a plan to visit Eastbourne, especially the resorts on the Eastbourne Beach and the Chalk Cliffs on Eastbourne Borough are also known as Beachy Head. I along with three of my friends had been planning this trip for a long time but because of a busy life in a city, I could not have been able to make this tour to this beautiful town. But this time we were determined to take this time no matter what. We agreed to take a week off from work. I live in London and my friend Jake lives in Cambridge and David lives in Northampton. Lastly, our good friend Jamie lives in Bristol. We all agreed that we would be meeting at the Stansted Airport just after the dawn of the morning. As it all happened we all reached there at the expected time. After getting acquainted with each other we decided that first, we would have breakfast as it is the most important meal of the day. We went to the nearest breakfast place, The Windmill. All of us ordered some slices of bacon and eggs and coffee as well.

During our breakfast, David asked me if I had made a booking for a cab. I told him that I booked a cab from the company. I also told them that I often use a cab from company, and they are a very good company. I booked a cab for 6 o’clock in the morning. We finished our breakfast and it was getting closer to 6 in the morning. The cab driver reached there in time and we were also ready. He was waiting for us at the terminal of the airport. He was standing there in front of the cab waiting for us. He then introduced himself and greeted us in a cheerful manner, offering to take our bags; he put the bags in the trunk of the cab. I booked a cab from Stansted Airport to East Beach Hotel, Eastbourne. We then went on with our journey and it was quite exciting for all of us to get together in such a long time. We haven’t taken a trip altogether in such a long time. After driving for nearly 2 hrs and 10 ms we reached the resort.

The driver gave us all our luggage and said his goodbyes to us. We checked into the hotel and got our room keys. We reserved two adjoining rooms that could accommodate two people in it. After taking a nap for 2 to 3 hrs we were now fresh and ready to get on with our itinerary. Firstly, we went to the beach. It was a sunny day and a beautiful day to enjoy a day out on the beach. The next day we went to the Beachy Heads, which is the highest chalk cliff in Britain. For the next two days, we explored the town and its cuisines. We are all very foody and like to dine out and often we eat some street food or fast food. Altogether it was a memorable trip for all of us which we could cherish for the years to come.
